My Son, My Savior Movie
My Son, My Savior is the title of a new movie produced by the same team that brought us Road to Emmaus and Come Follow Me. My Son, My Savior is about the coming, life and ministry of Jesus told from the perspective of his mother Mary.
Only one woman had the unique privilege to call Jesus her son. Mary was blessed to be the mother of the Savior who was sent by God to rescue the world from sin and death. The 42-minute movie portrays Mary experiencing and pondering the miracle of Jesus’ coming and humbly growing in her understanding that her son is also her Savior. The main message for all viewers is that Jesus is their Savior too.
Study resources are available for use with the movie:
- Four-lesson Bible study – this may be used on the four Sundays of Advent
- Study guide for small groups – for family devotional time or with a small gathering of members
- Personal reflection guide – to help individuals focus on main thoughts of the movie, and to help members share the message of the movie/Jesus with someone they know.
- Advent by candlelight materials – for women to gather together around the Word of God in a quiet setting to help them focus on the true meaning of Christmas
Single DVDs and case order of 50 DVDs are available from Northwestern Publishing House.
NPH has also prepared products for sale based on the movie: a series of devotions, a music CD, and a book entitled, “The Mom that God Chose.”
