We are so grateful for the support of God’s people in the WELS. Thank you for your prayers, compassion, and generosity! It’s wonderful to see your care and concern for those who are hurting. Many, many of you have contacted us with offers of help. I’d like to address the best way for you to do that.

We respectfully ask that you please don’t gather or send supplies (like food, water, clothing, blankets, personal care items, etc.). In general, other disaster relief organizations do a great job providing the supplies that people in the disaster zone need. They have both the infrastructure and know-how. We don’t have a way to get donated supplies into the disaster zone and distribute them efficiently.

The best way to support our efforts is through financial gifts. You can give a gift by sending a check to the following address. Please designate your gift for our “Disaster Relief Fund.”
