Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA’s) are a great way to build your retirement.  Now you can help build churches while you are managing your retirement savings by investing in a WELS CEF Retirement Certificate.  What a fantastic way of helping others, while helping yourself!

Our adminstrator: We have an agreement with NuView Trust Company of Longwood, FL, which acts as a third-party administrator and custodian for our Retirement Certificates held in an IRA account for the benefit of you — our investor.  There are a number of ways you can participate:

Move all or part of your existing IRA to NuView Trust Company and direct them to open a WELS CEF Retirement/IRA Certificate.  You can also open an brand new IRA.  A minimum $5,000 is required for rollovers, transfers and new money to our Retirement Certificates.

How to get started:  The first step is to call WELS Church Extension Fund, Inc. at 866-511-7793 to obtain a IRA starter kit. We will supply you with all the paperwork you need to open a new IRA account with NuView Trust Company.   The paperwork will then direct them to purchase a WELS CEF Retirement/IRA Certificate with those funds.  All checks are to be made payable to NuView Trust Company and returned with the completed paperwork to WELS CEF.  We will review  and forward everything on your behalf to NuView Trust Company.

Once you have an IRA account:  you may add to that Retirement Certificate at any time during the year.  A minimum $100 may be contributed once a month – up to the maximum allowed under IRS rules for your situation.  Make checks payable to NuView Trust Company and send them to WELS CEF and we will forward on your behalf to NuView Trust Company.
