Upcoming webinar offers tips for intentional ministry recruitment

On Nov. 11, 2026, at 7 p.m. Central, WELS’ five ministry recruitment counselors will be hosting a webinar called “Generational Differences and Ministry Recruitment: The INVEST Framework.”

Using the acrostic of the word invest, the webinar will dig into how all WELS members can encourage future pastors, teachers, and staff ministers by investing in the people God has placed in their lives. The ministry recruitment counselors will discuss how to recognize opportunities to encourage others in any stage of life for the full-time ministry plus practical tips and ideas of what to say.

By having intentional conversations with pastors, teachers, staff ministers, church leaders, and congregation members, the counselors are working to foster a strong culture of ministry encouragement across all WELS congregations and schools.
