Sent to share Christ—join us at Taste of Missions

At the heart of Taste of Missions 2026 is a moment we don’t want you to miss: coming together as the church to send new missionaries to share Christ’s love in mission fields near and far. We invite you to join us on Saturday, June 13, for a day that begins with worship and the commissioning of missionaries and continues with stories, conversations, and connections from across WELS missions.

Date: Saturday, June 13, 2026

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Location: Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon, Wis., OR online!

The day begins with a commissioning service, where newly called missionaries are sent to serve in home and world mission settings. After the service, you’re invited to stay and explore more of what mission work looks like today:

• Updates from Home and World Missions leadership
• Moments with Missionaries presentations featuring firsthand stories from the field
• A Q&A panel with newly commissioned missionaries
• Mission displays and a variety of ethnic foods to enjoy throughout the afternoon

Taste of Missions is designed for individuals and families of all ages who want to better understand how God is opening doors for the gospel and how he continues to use his people to reach others with Christ.
