National Conference on Worship, Music, and the Arts
July 30 – August 2, 2024 | Carthage College, Kenosha, Wis.
Who is this conference for? Not just pastors and musicians! It truly offers worship enrichment for everyone: laypeople, musicians, pastors, teachers, and youth. There will be a high school Honor Choir of 90 voices or more and a children’s choir of up to 60 voices. Breakout topics are selected so that every session includes topics of general interest to laypeople who aren’t musicians but who care about Lutheran vitality in their congregations.
What is the cost for this conference? The cost for full, on-campus registration is $455 for an air-conditioned dorm room, or $405 for a standard dorm room. Unlike some other conferences where lodging and some meals are extra, this fee covers everything: registration, air-conditioned dorm lodging, and all meals. Commuting ($355) and part-time registration options are also be available.
Pre-conference rehearsals for the Festival Choir will begin Sunday evening, July 28.
Individuals who register to attend both the WELS Women’s Ministry Conference and the WELS National Conference on Worship, Music, and the Arts will receive a rebate of $150 after attending both conferences. Attendees must register for both conferences separately.
How does the rebate work? When arriving onsite for each of the conferences, attendees will be checked into each conference. After both conferences have concluded, WELS will issue the individual a rebate if they qualify by attending both conferences.
