East Fork Lutheran School students are using their God-given gifts in incredible ways. This year’s robotics season has shown what dedicated, faith-filled Christian Apache youth can do when they lean into the talents and abilities the Lord has blessed them with.

What began as a small pilot program has grown into a state-leading, history-making robotics team—Arizona’s first Native American school to win the state championship! Through hard work, problem-solving, and perseverance, the students continue to shine, giving all glory to God.

This Christmas, as we celebrate the birth of our Savior and the hope he brings to the world, we’re reminded that more than 6.5 billion people still live without access to the gospel. For 175 years, God has opened doors for WELS to share Christ across the globe—but the mission remains urgent and unfinished.

Today, God is leading us into new, high-risk, unreached mission fields, including Senegal, where missionaries are beginning gospel outreach among the Wolof people. This effort is part of our bold commitment to “Pioneer missions in high-risk and unreached areas,” trusting God to work through us to bring his light to the darkest corners of the world.

Your support helps send missionaries, equip local leaders, and bring the good news of Jesus to places where his name is scarcely known. This congregation celebrates the Christmas season with some timeless outreach events like Advent by Candlelight and a kids' Christmas program. It also participates in community-focused events like "Shop with a Cop" and hosting a traditional Mexican Christmas meal. God's blessings this Christmas season as members of Christ share the good news of the Savior in Colorado.
