For six years, pastors from Cameroon, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, and Zambia walked through personal trials, ministry challenges, and the uncertainty of a global pandemic—all while pursuing their Bachelor of Divinity degrees.
|
Their journey wasn't marked by ease, but by God's faithfulness. Through every hardship, he taught them to rely not on themselves, but on the One "who raises the dead" (2 Corinthians 1:9).
|
Now, these graduates return to their communities equipped to preach Christ crucified, risen, reigning, and returning—sharing the same hope that carried them through every "why."

On Sunday, July 12, 2026, Micah Neumann was installed as pastor to a new mission start in Cedar Lake, Indiana! His installation took place at Trinity Lutheran in Crete, Illinois. We ask for God's blessings on the Neumann family and the Cedar Lake core group as they begin to reach out with the gospel to those in Indiana and beyond.

Lynne shares how a lifelong search for truth led her from atheism and hostility toward Christianity to the forgiveness, grace, and certainty found only in Jesus. Through the ministry of two WELS home mission congregations, God quenched her thirst for truth and gave her a sure foundation for this life and the next.
