A small stream flows out of Lake Itasca in Minnesota over which a person can easily walk. On its way to the Gulf of Mexico, it is joined by many other streams and rivers, and it becomes the mighty Mississippi River where ocean going ships may travel as far as Baton Rouge. As the faith of an individual is joined by others from every nation, tribe, language, and people, it too becomes a river that makes glad the City of God.
