
2022 CESE Conference
August 2, 2022
The 2022 CESE Conference will give teachers the opportunity to “attend” 3 different ways.
CESE is very pleased this year to add an in-person option.

1. In-person
This choice allows teachers to attend the conference and interact with the presenter as well as fellow teachers on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
The in-person conference will be held at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School in Jackson, WI. (KMLS is south of Hwy 60 and east of Jackson.)
2. Virtual
This choice allows teachers who cannot or choose not to attend in-person to enjoy the conference on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. The link will be sent a day or two before the conference.
3. Recorded
This choice allows teachers who are unable to attend on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 to view the conference at a later date. The link will be sent out a few days after the conference.

Topic: You Must Be Regulated Before You Can Learn:
How Sensory Processing, Safety, and Self-Regulation Impact Behavior and Learning
At the end of this workshop participants will:
1. Learn about the different sensory systems and how it impacts development, motor skills, and school performance.
2. Understand when sensory processing or environmental stressors are impacting behavior and learn practical strategies to help better support students.
3. Become more skilled at identifying self-regulation challenges and implement realistic strategies to empower kids and help them meet the expectations of school.
