God’s House Is Still Open for Worship

    By Dave Liggett:Bio on July 14, 2008

A sad occurrence in our churches each summer is the dramatic decline in church attendance. There are all kinds of excuses for this: vacations, family gatherings, too hot, too cold, too busy to worship the Lord who has granted us the blessings we enjoy in both summer and the rest of the year. I am amazed at the different ways in which our congregations are striving to eliminate our excuses to attend church: air conditioning, extra service times, unique worship services, and outdoor worship, just to name a few. Can you share some accommodations your church or one near you has made for its members?
