Beautiful Savior

One of my favorite hymns is “Beautiful Savior.” Play here What I like about that hymn is it not only sings about our beautiful Savior making it possible for us to be dressed in glorious dress, thanks to what he did for us; but it also sings about our beautiful Savior being the king of creation. A look around our world quickly reveals what a beautiful God we have. He is the one who is responsible for the springtime, flowers, and blooming trees. He is the one who decided we can live in a world that is not just black and white, but filled with vibrant colors. A quick glance at nature is just another way the words of the hymn “Beautiful Savior” are verified. Let’s share ways in which we see the beauty of our Savior in our everyday lives.

Hi Folks: Wow, I have no idea how I got your website on my laptop - discovered it by accident - have spent much time enjoying this site this morning - a past WELS member, now a CLC member (availability) - - - the only way you could improve this site with ‘Beautiful Savior’, would be to include the music (with, or without the words) - - I just retired from teaching music (after 38 years) and now can spend the time to enjoy this ’site’ on a regular basis - - - Thanks, Luther Schoon 9719 Hwy 49 Lemmon, SD 57638

Dear Luther,
Thank you for the “kind” comments about our WELS website. As you mentioned our website is chocked full of information about our church body, but much more importantly about the work of our Savior. Thank you for the advice about including the music for the hymn Beautiful Savior. For us who live in the northern hemisphere we are being reminded of who is ultimately in control of this world as watch His creation come alive.
